Wicked! (and a little shopping - a good combination!)

Yesterday we finally used my birthday present from January, which was tickets to see Wicked on Broadway. We went to Millbrook on Friday, spent the afternoon and evening with Grandma and Grandpa Field, then took the train to NYC from Poughkeepsie on Saturday morning. We walked from Grand Central Station up to 55th Street, where we did a little bargain shopping at a place that a co-worker had told Dave about. They had some fun things! After arranging for our purchases to be shipped to Heber, we walked to Times Square, where we had lunch at Michael Scott's favorite New York pizza joint (aka Sbarro's). Then we went to the Gershwin Theater for the show. And it was awesome - we all loved it! It was definitely worth the six month wait!

  1. I still cannot believe that the musical enthusiast in the family went uninvited. IT'S UNJUST! But at least I'm getting all of your old furniture to make up for it . . . :-)

  2. Marie was there with the Olsens, did you happen to see them?

I can't believe you're actually leaving. It was always something in the future, we're going to miss you! We'll miss Dave coming over as our home teacher! Good luck with the drive and getting settled in!
