Well, here we are almost four months down the road! I never have been much of a journal writer, but I'm repenting here. (At least for today!) There have been at least a few important things that have happened during that time. Here's a sampling:
1. Rachel married Jeffry Brown on April 28th in the Palmyra Temple. It was a wonderful day, and so nice to share it with so many of our very favorite people! Jeff's a great young man, and we're so happy to have him in the family! (And he may even be getting used to us by now!)
2. Jacob is engaged to Nicole Apgood. They'll be married on August 18th in the Manti Temple. We're excited for them both and are looking forward to adding Nicole to the family. She's a wonderful girl!
3. We loved having everyone home in April for Rachel's wedding. It was fun to introduce Abby (our adorable little grandbaby!) to her great grandparents. Just having the house full of family was so much fun!
4. We've sold our house and are moving temporarily to a rented duplex. Now that will be interesting...
5. I'm still plugging away at school.
Those are a few of the highlights. A pretty exciting 4 months!
YAYAYAYAY!!! My mom finally wrote in her blog!!! Don't worry, I'm not very good at it either :-) I think it would be so fun if we could get EVERYONE in the family to have a blog, because even if you talk often, there's so much day-to-day stuff you miss out on, not to mention PICTURES! That would be cool, and kind of like a family newsletter that we could all keep in touch on . . . hmmm, I sense a project for Mrs. Kathleen Good-Idea Field. And your background is VERY cute; did Bekah do it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! And I've already put Bekah right on it! (A side benefit - it makes a great Personal Progress project - yay for personal progress!!!) And yes, Bekah did my background. If it was left to me, it would be a lovely neutral shade of gray with sophisticated black lettering!
